Samsung’s 65W fast charger under development, is it for Galaxy S21 or Note 21?

Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra will be launched on January 14, 2021, at the first Galaxy Unpacked of this year. These devices will equip the latest software and hardware capabilities such as Snapdragon 888 SoC and Exynos 2100 (upcoming), displays with 120Hz refresh rate, and more.

As we know, the Galaxy S20 Ultra supports 45W fast charging while the previous reports suggested that the upcoming Galaxy S21 series only supports 25W fast charging. It is worth mentioning that the company has also ditched the charger from its retails box, then the charger will be shipped as an optional accessory.

Recently, a tipster has exposed a powerful 65W fast charger adapter of Samsung with a model number of Samsung TA-865 which will be a test device. In addition, it is suitable for Samsung S20Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, Fold, and other mobile phones, using a USB-C output interface.

Previously, this device has been certified by South Korean institutions, but it is unclear whether the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 series will support this charger. If Samsung doesn’t provide a 65W fast charger for the Galaxy S21 series, it is expected that the Galaxy Note 21 might support this fast charger. It can fully charge the device in just 30 minutes.
