Samsung launches Galaxy A02 with dual rear camera, 5000mAh battery, and more

Starting this year, Samsung announced the affordable Galaxy A32 5G smartphone while its release date is yet to be confirmed. Later on, the company has launched the latest Galaxy S21 flagship series which includes three premium smartphones.

Today, the Korean tech firm has silently launched an entry-level mobile phone Galaxy A02 in Thailand. Samsung Galaxy A02 sports a 6.5-inch Infinity-V HD + display, 2/3GB RAM + 32/64GB internal storage with external microSD card support.

This budget smartphone powered by MediaTek MT6739W chip, Android 10 OS, and packs a large 5000mAh battery with 7.75W charging, which is 2000mAh larger compared to its predecessor.

Talking about camera specs, it equips a dual rear camera setup including a 13MP primary lens and 2MP macro sensor alongside a 5MP front camera for selfies.

Samsung’s latest budget phone Galaxy A02 comes with a starting price tag of 2,999 baht (around 7300 rupees). It is available in Thailand in four different colors like denim black, denim blue, denim gray, and denim red.
