Recently, we’ve encountered the leaked specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 LTE/5G. And now, a tipster claimed that the upcoming mid-range device will have another flagship feature of Samsung’s premium smartphones.
According to the YouTube video posted by a tipster, the Galaxy A52 5G will come with IP67 certification for dust and water resistance. If this rumor comes true, this device will become the first mid-range Galaxy smartphone after 2017 that will be dust and water-resistant.
However, the 2017’s Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 were the first lower-end handset offering from Samsung having an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Later on, the company has stopped bringing this feature to mid-rangers.

What is IP67 rating?
The IP rating is mostly used to show how a product is protected while a solid or liquid entering the product. On the other hand, “6” indicates the sensor is completely protected against solid objects from entering the sensor while the “7” means, the sensor can be completely immersed in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes before the moisture penetrates into the housing.

The recent leak suggests that the Galaxy A52 sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with up to 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the Korean tech giant will ship this smartphone with pre-installed Android 11-based One UI 3.x.
Furthermore, The 4G version will be powered by Snapdragon 720G processor supported by 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage options. Apart from this, it equips a 4500mAh battery that can be charged by up to a 25W fast charger.
Talking about camera spec, the Galaxy A52 will feature a quad rear camera setup including a 64MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth sensor, and 5MP macro camera as well as a 32MP front camera for selfies. It is rumored to be launch in the last week of March 2021 in Vietnam with a starting price of $400.
Aside from the 4G variant, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G to be powered by a Snapdragon 750G processor at a starting price of $475. Meanwhile, the design and specifications except for the processor will be similar to the Galaxy A52 LTE.
