Samsung Galaxy F62 testing One UI 5.0/One UI 4.1.1 builds

Samsung F62 One UI 5.0

Samsung is running the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta program for premium smartphones, at the same time, delivering stable Android 12L/12-based One UI 4.1.1 updates for older foldable phones and tablets. Now it looks like mid-range Samsung Galaxy F62 has started testing One UI 5.0 or One UI 4.1.1 builds.

Samsung launched the Galaxy F62 smartphones with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 OS last year. The device received its first major OS update as Android 12-based One UI 4.1 earlier this year and is now eligible for two more major OS upgrades.

The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 will obviously be the next major Android OS upgrade for the device. But ahead of One UI 5.0, Samsung is delivering One UI 4.1.1 to its Galaxy devices and it’s not confirmed whether the F62 will get One UI 4.1.1.

Samsung F62 One UI 5.0

Last year, the company didn’t provide the One UI 3.1.1 update to these devices. Samsung seems to be following the same path this year, therefore, there are more chances for the Galaxy F62 to directly get the One UI 5.0 version skipping One UI 4.1.1.

Furthermore, it should be noted that the next major One UI upgrade for the Galaxy F62 has appeared with build version E625FDDU2CVI3 on CheckFirm and it is being tested for Indian users.

Samsung One UI 5.0:

Although the official date is not confirmed, Samsung is suggested to reveal the stable One UI 5.0 version in mid-October. As the company is running a beta program, we can already get familiar with its new features, improvements, and changes.

With Android 13-based One UI 5.0, the company brought 16 color palette options, a Camera Watermark feature, new smart suggestion widget, improved camera Pro mode, notification permission, and other features.

Samsung One UI 4.1.1:

Samsung rolled out the One UI 4.1.1 update to a bunch of Galaxy smartphones and tablets. This version also includes some new features along with many improvements.

Samsung brings Extract images or text from the screen, Simplified caller identification, improved My Files search function, Quickly open split screen feature, and more.
