Report: Samsung to launch the Galaxy Note 20 with Snapdragon 865+ in South Korea

Samsung is going to unveil the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra at the first online Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5, 2020.

Samsung usually launches two variants (with different chipsets) of the Galaxy devices – Qualcomm’s Snapdragon and Samsung’s Exynos. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon variant is available in China and the US, while the other markets have Samsung’s Exynos chipset.

A new report claims that Samsung is thinking to bring the upcoming Galaxy Note device with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865+ chipset in the domestic market, South Korea, reports South Korean publication DDaily.

The latest chipset has faster 5G modems with higher download and upload speeds. They also have a better battery life compared to Exynos variants.
