Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 rumored to feature new Exynos chip with AMD GPU

Due to the growth of the foldable smartphone era, Samsung canceled the much-awaited Galaxy Note series this year and placed bets on the next generation of foldable phones. The company may launch two different types of bendable models, including the clamshell type (Galaxy Z Flip) and the horizontal folding type (Galaxy Fold / Z Fold 2).

As of now, several reports have given us some insight into the specifications and designs of the two upcoming foldable phones, and their chipsets are still a mystery. At the same time, industry insiders have obtained detailed information about this problem, as reliable sources claim that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 chipset is top secret.

If this information is correct, then the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will not be powered by Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100. In addition, the new Exynos processor is likely to be equipped with an AMD GPU. However, the company also made it clear at the Exynos 2100 conference that the “next-generation flagship product” will be equipped with the AMD GPU.

Reports also suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 may be equipped with a new version of the Snapdragon 8. Also, it is expected that the device will be available in July/August this year, while the official date has not yet been announced.

According to previous reports, the cover display of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 may be slightly smaller than that of the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The company may also reduce the battery capacity of this smartphone for design and functional upgrades.
