Samsung Galaxy S21 users reported having battery issues after updating to February 2021 security patch

Samsung has already released the February 2021 security patch to the Galaxy S21 series back in January this year. Aside from the security update, these devices have also received two different software updates that have improved the camera and system performance.

On the other hand, a number of Galaxy S21 series smartphone users have reported on different platforms regarding issues with their phone’s battery life. It is worth mentioning that the Exynos 2100 powered Galaxy S21 device users are mainly facing critical battery drain issues.

In addition, some Galaxy S21 owners consider that due to cellular connectivity issues, the battery consumption may be accelerating. Furthermore, the battery consumes within normal parameters while the airplane mode is enabled, reported users.

Besides, it looks like Samsung is already aware of these problems of the Galaxy S21 users. And reportedly working on a new software update that should solve the critical battery consumption issues. However, it is still unclear when the company will release the fix update.

It is expected that the Korean tech giant will start delivering the new firmware update in March 2021 including the newer security patch that will also solve the issues regarding the performance of the Galaxy S21’s battery.
