Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ won’t bring any major upgrades: Report

Samsung S23 major upgrade

Earlier this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ with the same design but a lot of improvements over their predecessors. Meanwhile, a new report appearing online reveals that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ will not bring any major upgrades over the existing models.

A very well-known tipster Ice Universe a few days back revealed that Galaxy S23 Ultra will bring back the Galaxy S22 Ultra design. Now the same tipster said that the next year’s Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ phones will also come with the same design as their predecessors.

Not only this but he also claims that Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ even don’t feature any major upgrades, besides the processor which will be boosted to Snapdragon 8 Gen2 from 8 Gen1.

Other than the processor, these two devices will come with the same screen and the same sensor. We won’t even see any changes on the Camera and Battery side nor the middle frame has been changed. Fans are not really happy hearing this rumor, maybe some things get changed by the launch.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is also rumored to come with the same design but it will bring some noticeable improvements over the existing Galaxy S-Ultra phone. Among those upgrades, the most noteworthy is the Camera.

While the Galaxy S22 Ultra features a 108MP primary camera, its successor will equip a 200MP HP2 sensor. However, the other three cameras are the same – a 12MP ultra-wide camera and two 10MP telephoto lenses with 10x and 3x optical zoom.

Anyways, these are just the rumors and leaks of the upcoming devices and anything can be changed in the coming time. It is only Samsung that can reveal the exact details about the phones. It’s worth mentioning that the three new S series flagship phones will go official in early 2023.
