Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 to boast bigger battery than its predecessor

Samsung seems to be actively working on its next flagship models – the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Accordingly, both devices are rumored to come with several prominent features and capabilities, therefore, one among them could be the bigger battery of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6.

According to the information, Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphone with a bigger battery, as compared to its predecessor. The device is tipped to feature two batteries, the smaller unit has a rated capacity of 1097mAh, and the larger one has a rated capacity of 2790mAh.

When these are combined, the dual-battery system of the sixth-generation clamshell device has a rated capacity of 3887mAh, which is a typical capacity of 4000mAh. The current, fifth-generation model – Galaxy Z Flip 5 comes with 971mAh and 2620mAh units which round up to a typical capacity of 3700mAh.

However, this move shows that Galaxy Z Flip 6 may follow the footprints of the recently launched Galaxy AI-powered devices, as the Galaxy S24 smartphone also powers a 400mAh battery. Accordingly, Samsung is expected to launch its next foldable phones sometime in July, just like the Fold 5 and Flip 5.
