Verizon BYOD brings eSIM support for Google Pixel and iPhones

Verizon is taking an exciting initiative to bring support for eSIM for smartphones. In the recent past, Visible the subsidiary of Verizon has launched the eSIM for limited phones. Now, the users don’t have to wait for the physical SIM card delivered.

Now, the source reveals that Verizon has also started supporting eSIM for some devices belongs Google Pixel, iPhone, and Samsung Galaxy series. Just recently, Verizon rep George Koroneos mentioned that the rollout of this service begins on June 1, 2022. You can sign-up any time. [Link]

Speaking about eSIM, it is a programmable chip that builds into your smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch and serves as a physical SIM. In simple words, eSIM permits the users to activate their phone on the network without inserting the physical SIM.

But, here are some tweaks, let’s talk about them. The major notable thing is that you must bring your own device (BYOD) to get Verizon eSIM support. Next, your smartphone must support eSIM and not belongs to Verizon.

Lastly, Verizon’s eSIM program must also support your phone. At the moment, Verizon eSIM activation on the BYOD program is supportive for limited devices from Google Pixel, Apple and Samsung. You can check the device list below.
