Vivo Y72 5G with 64MP camera and 5000mAh battery will be launched in Thailand next week

Vivo officially confirmed the launch date of Vivo Y72 5G  on March 22 in Thailand. The official release poster shows the design of the smartphone. In addition, the phone has spotted on the Google Play console which reveals some major specifications of the device.

As per the company, the Vivo Y72 5G will be the company’s first 5G-enabled Y series in the global market. The listing clearly shows that the Y72 5G supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a pixel density of 440ppi. It also has a teardrop on the front of the earpiece.

On the backside of the phone, the phone sports a vertical camera module that houses a triple camera unit led by a 64-megapixel primary camera. It is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Y72 5G will be available in colors like black and blue-pink gradient.

Furthermore, the Play console listing also reveals that the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6833V chip, which is a Dimensity 700 chip. It is pre-installed with Android 11 OS and offers 8 GB of RAM. It is also confirmed that the device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery.

It is also rumored that the Vivo Y72 5G is equipped with a 6.58-inch LCD screen and may be equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera. Its triple camera setup may include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro/depth sensor.

Also, it may come with 18W fast charging support. The color variants of the Y72 5G may carry the nicknames, Graphite Black and Dream Glow.
