Variable Aperture technology

The variable aperture technology works under complex light conditions, relying on the aperture change of a lens. It can match bright light and dark light scenes more accurately. Further, the appropriate shutter speed improves film quality.

Likewise, if any lens has an optimal resolution at a certain aperture value and the optimal resolution is often not the maximum aperture value of the lens. Subsequently, most of the best resolution results are obtained after shrinking the aperture.

Furthermore, the aperture controls the depth of field of the imaging image, and at the time of shooting without blurring, shrink the aperture to get the same depth of field. Consequently, the aperture can also control the exposure brightness of the shot.

Therefore, if you encounter a strong light environment and do not want to increase the shutter speed, you can also control the exposure by shrinking the aperture. Hence, the variable aperture technology could make Mi 13 Ultra the mobile phone with the best image in Xiaomi’s history so far.
