Xiaomi Redmi K40 Pro could feature punch-hole display instead of pop-up selfie camera

Xiaomi’s Redmi K series upcoming smartphone, Redmi K40 Pro is expected to feature a hole-punch design to reconcile a selfie camera instead of a pop-up module, similar to earlier Pro models in the Redmi K series.

In the previous report, the Redmi K series Pro models featured a pop selfie camera to offer a full-screen viewing experience.

According to the latest information, the Redmi K40 Pro will feature a hole-punch cutout in the upper-left part of the display with a single selfie camera. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC and a 4,970 mAh dual-cell battery.

Moreover, the phone will come with an OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It will also sport a 108MP primary camera. Redmi K40 will be expected to launch at the end of this month. There is no official announcement about the launch date of the smartphone.
