Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi G 2021 gaming laptop on September 22, 2021. As the successor to the Xiaomi gaming notebook, Redmi has now successfully captured a place in the highly competitive gaming notebook market.

Redmi G 2021 has AMD and Intel dual-platform options, supports independent display direct connection, highest RTX 3060, starting price of 5699 yuan. The appearance of the Redmi G 2021 and the previous generation is very compact. The whole housing is still made of plastic material. The frame control is quite satisfactory, and it seems very cost-effective at first glance.

All Redmi G series is equipped with a 16.1-inch 144Hz gaming screen as standard, which has passed the German Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. However, it is a pity that the high-end version does not have the option of 2K 165Hz, which leaves some netizens quite confused.

The keyboard is quite good, the machine uses a full-sized three-level backlit keyboard, the only small slot is the “0” row position of the small keyboard area which is different from the mainstream design.

Talking about the interface, it has three USB-A ports, HDMI, RJ45 network port, 3.5mm headphone port, and multifunctional Type-C port.
