Wow! Google ARCore support list is finally adding the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S23 devices. On the other hand, the list also reads a handful of other Samsung phones.

Generally, the Android maker takes a long time to add newly released smartphones to the Google ARCore-supported devices, but, that’s not the case for the Samsung Galaxy S23 devices.

For your information, Google believes that ARCore certification is crucial as it wants users to have a good experience with AR apps. This is primarily related to sensitive motion tracking, which is done by combining the camera image and the motion sensor input to determine how the user’s device moves through the real world.

Further, Google checks the quality of the camera, motion sensors, and design architecture to ensure it performs as expected. Moreover, the smartphone requires to have a powerful enough CPU that integrates with the hardware design to ensure good performance and effective real-time calculations.

In addition to the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, the Google ARCore support list added the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy A23 5G, Galaxy A14 5G, and more. Notably, the company has recently added the Pixel 7 and 6a smartphones, after about a four-month delay.
