It is now reported that Samsung is developing a 4G version of the Galaxy S21 FE phone. The Galaxy S21 FE 5G version has model number SM-G990B, and media Galaxy Club has dug up the upcoming SM-G990B2 model number, which is in development and comes with its own standalone firmware.

This model recently received Bluetooth SIG certification to support Bluetooth 5.2, while the SM-G990B (aka S21 FE 5G) only supports Bluetooth 5.0. According to multiple listings on Scandinavian online stores and stores in Belgium and the Netherlands, the Samsung S21 FE 4G phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 720G chip.

Moreover, Samsung previously used the Snapdragon 720G in the Galaxy A52, which is much lower-end than the Snapdragon 888 in the S21 FE 5G, which means the Samsung S21 FE 4G phone will also be cheaper.
