Samsung is planning for CPU development for optimized Galaxy. As per the latest information, the company is hearsay to introduce the first Galaxy-optimized chipset with its own developed CPU in 2027 if the development is carried out as planned.
With this initiation, the South Korean tech maker will be able to expand the competition level in the market and strengthen the capability of its Galaxy-exclusive chip in the merchandise.

The information also reveals that Samsung recently organized an internal team dedicated to CPU core development for Galaxy. The vendor has hired a senior developer that was responsible for CPU development at U.S. Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) to lead the team.

No doubt, the company wants to lessen its dependency on British chip design house ARM Ltd. for central processing unit (CPU) cores for smartphones and personal computers. Moreover, it will help the chipset to be further optimized with Galaxy devices.
