What to expect from Samsung Unpacked 2023 event on February 01: Galaxy S23 series, One UI 5.1, and more

Samsung is going to hold a launch event on February 01, 2023. At the Unpacked Event 2023, the company will unveil a series of devices.

The Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1 is a live event, that will be held in San Francisco. This will be the first in-person launch event since the pre-pandemic Galaxy S20 event in February 2020. Let’s talk about the launch event and expectations.

Samsung is likely to launch these devices at the Unpacked 2023 event:

  • Samsung Galaxy S23 series
  • Samsung Galaxy Book3

Starting with the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ smartphones feature refined designs on the back with separate camera cutouts. The front camera hole is way too little, whereas the chin and bezels are also classy so you can express yourself with the new Galaxy!

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is likely to come with two new camera sensors including a 200MP primary shooter and a 12MP front-facing snapper. In design aspects, the Galaxy S23 Ultra features negligible changes, however, the middle frame is slightly thick with a less curved display. The trio is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 process, with overclocked CPU and GPU. In addition, the S23 and S23+ devices also have boosted batteries of 3900mAh and 4700mAh, respectively. Samsung Galaxy Book3, Samsung has not officially disclosed, which Galaxy devices coming at the Unpacked. Since the S23 series is naturally pre-planned, the Galaxy Book3 laptops are revealed to consumers, who have reserved them. Samsung One UI 5.1, Samsung’s Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software will get an upgrade with the Galaxy S23 series. The new version reportedly brings great new nightography features (AstroHyperlapse), lock screen personalization tools as well as further system optimization. Read more
