Early users of the Apple Watch Series 7 reported an incident shortly after arriving at the watch. According to the reports, the app icon is not showing up correctly on the screen.
Well, this issue only affects third-party apps and currently doesn’t appear in other Apple watches with lower screen resolutions. Users can re-download the app to solve this problem, but it’s actually a bit troublesome.
Meanwhile, as per Apple Insider reports, Apple seems to be aware of this problem and is working to resolve it. Apple’s solution is also very simple –

If it determines that there is a problem with an app’s icon, it will automatically re-download the app from the App Store to refresh the icon. After the update, the App Store will display “This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch’s app icon”.
However, it’s not clear how long the fix will take to fully roll out to all watchOS apps, but it will end an annoying issue with Apple Watch Series 7.
