OnePlus teases its upcoming smart band, launch soon in India

OnePlus is now looking to enter the wearable segment with its first-ever smart band. Recently we have encountered the renders of the fitness band, and now as per the latest information, the company has officially teased the fitness tracker on its official Twitter handle and also released a dedicated notify me page on its website.

The post on Twitter says ‘The New Face of Fitness Coming Soon’, which confirms that the company will soon launch its first fitness tracker in India. Also, OnePlus has released a ‘notify me’ page for the band where users can get a chance to win the fitness tracker. As per the previously leaked specs, the OnePlus fitness tracker will feature a 1.1-inch AMOLED display and will support 5ATM and IP68 water resistance. It will come with a battery life of 14 days. The band will get the oxygen monitoring feature along with many exercise modes including Outdoor Run, Cycling, Cricket, Pool Swim, Yoga, and more.

This upcoming fitness band is said to compete with Xiaomi’s Mi band 5 which is already there in the market. Although it remains to be seen, what reaction it will get from the customers. Currently, there is no official launch date available for this band but we expect that the company will launch it soon in the coming weeks.

Further, the company has not yet said anything about the price of the fitness band but as per the previous information, it is said that the OnePlus fitness tracker will be priced at around $40 which is approximately 2900 INR.
