Samsung will launch its new Galaxy smartwatches with several prominent features at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Among all the elements, one is Sleep Apnea and this feature has already made its way to Galaxy Watch running Beta.

A Reddit user via 9To5Google informed that the latest update of the Samsung Health Monitor app has brought the Sleep Apnea feature on the Galaxy Watch running One UI 6 Watch Beta. But the feature is not ready to use on the wearable.

The sleep apnea detection feature was first introduced in February 2024. To be mentioned, this tool is designed to detect potential signs of moderate to severe sleep apnea over a two-night monitoring period.

The feature is expected to be officially launched with the One UI 6 Watch on the Galaxy Watch 7 series. However, its early appearance on older Galaxy Watch models suggests that Samsung may be planning to roll it out to more devices.

It means, the consumers of the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 6 series will also be able to take benefit of this ultimately helpful feature, following its initial debut with upcoming Galaxy smartwatches.
