Apple watchOS 10.1 beta is rolling out with some secretive tweaks and one of them is the NameDrop feature for wearables. Eventually, you can use the respective feature to share your contact information and relevant details with other Apple Watch owners.
It is worth mentioning that the NameDrop feature in Apple watchOS 10.1 beta demands two iPhones running the latest iOS 17 operating system as well as two Apple Watches that have access to watchOS 10.1 update.
To access the feature, you need to open the Contacts app and select your profile. Now tap on the Share button which will display an animation, asking you to bring your Apple Watch to the nearby Apple device for initiating data transfer.
