Apple is pushing off the first watchOS 10 public beta to general testers. Here is your chance to get your hands on new functionalities and changes ahead of the official software release. On the side hand, you can contribute to making the approaching upgrade more efficient by raising your feedback.
In terms of features, Apple watchOS 10 public beta is bringing two new watch faces – Palette and Snoopy, redesigned UI elements, health-oriented capabilities including mood tracking, and more. Besides, the stocks apps in the Apple Watch such as Weather, Home, Maps, Messages, World Clock, and Heart Rate will obtain refreshed look with improved operations.
The update doesn’t show any flaws for the moment. But being a beta build, it is better to take some precautions. For instance, keep at least 60% battery of the wearable and pair it with your iPhone. Also, place it over the charger while updating.
How to Update?
- Initially, install the iOS 17 beta and then open the dedicated Watch app on your iPhone.
- Select the My Watch tab and click on the General option
- Tap on Software Update
- Select Beta Update and click on the watchOS 10 Public Beta
