Asus ZenFone 8 mini appears on Geekbench with Snapdragon 888 and 16GB RAM

Asus is expected to unveil a new line of flagship smartphones soon, including the ZenFone 8, ZenFone Pro, ZenFone 8 mini, and ZenFone 8 Flip. In the meantime, the ZenFone 8 mini has been spotted in the popular GeekBench benchmark database, which has revealed some of its specs.

As expected, the ZenFone 8 mini is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC as well as 16GB of RAM. Despite its compact size, this is the most complete flagship smartphone. The SoC is paired with the Adreno 660 GPU, which delivers excellent gaming performance.

The phone, which runs under the model number ASUS_I006D, scored 1121 points in single-core mode 3662 points when using all cores. The device runs on the Android 11 operating system.

According to previous leaks, the Asus ZenFone 8 mini features a 5.92-inch 2400 x 1080-pixel OLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It will get a dual camera with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor and a new Sony IMX663 sensor, while it will not be rotatable. A separate camera is provided for selfies. The presentation of new items is expected very soon.
