AT&T rolling out a new software update to Galaxy S20 series

AT&T has started to roll out a new software update that brings September 2020 security patch for the Galaxy S20 series. On the other hand, unlocked devices got the latest October 2020 security patch update.

As per the information, AT&T sending a new software update to its locked devices. It comes with the software version G981USQU1BTIH, G986USQU1BTIH, and G988USQU1BTIH for the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra respectively.

The update weighs 506MB for Galaxy S20, 513MB for Galaxy S20+, and 510MB for Galaxy S20 Ultra alongside it doesn’t bring anything else except the September 2020 security patch.

How to Update software:

  1. Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
  2. Swipe down from the Notification bar and select Settings.
  3. Scroll and select Software update, then Check for updates.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
