OnePlus has now started the closed beta test for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. The company is heading to the next stage for software testing for the newly launched flagship series. You can apply for the Closed Beta test from here.

Great news to share with you guys today, the Closed Beta Test for OnePlus 9/ 9 Pro is starting now. If any of you guys aren’t familiar with the CBT, please check out this thread.
The Closed Beta Program is an opportunity for us to listen to your feedback and refine or revise our product strategy based on that. It also helps us to find major bugs at an early stage and release more stable MP (official) builds.
The Closed Beta Group is the closest group to OnePlus staff. This group is made up of an elite crew of OnePlus community members. This group needs absolute secrecy, as testers will often get builds and features weeks or even months before they are released to the public. Given this, you are required to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with OnePlus to be part of this program.
This time around, we will be accepting 200 people into this Closed Beta Program and the chosen users will need to meet certain requirements. We also have some gifts for those who participate in the CBT with excellent performance. Also worth noticing, this program will sometimes require flashing builds that require a clean flash, which will cause data loss. So it is highly recommended that you should do a full backup of all your data.
In order to be eligible, you’ll have to meet the requirements below:
- Use a OnePlus 9/9 Pro device
- Be an active OnePlus Community member
- Be willing to constantly communicate and provide feedback to the OnePlus team on Telegram
