Samsung led the European smartphone market last month, followed by Xiaomi, Apple, OPPO and OnePlus

As an emerging mobile phone manufacturer, Xiaomi ranked second by provided high-end feature phones at low prices during the same period, thus accounting for 21% of the total market share. Meanwhile, Apple took third place, taking 20% ​​of the total European market share last month. However, due to large sales of its 5G-powered iPhone 12 model, the US technology giant led the global smartphone market in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Well, Chinese manufacturers OPPO and OnePlus occupy the fourth and fifth position respectively, accounting for 6% and 2% of the total market share respectively. OPPO did well as it ranked first in the local market in the first quarter.

  5. Samsung – 80% YoY growth

At the same time, Counterpoint also reported that April 2021 was the worst month in the past decade for smartphone sales in Europe.
