The racing game Dirt 5 hit Xbox Game Pass in February. Codemasters says making the game available on a Microsoft subscription was a great move.
“It was an absolutely fantastic decision. As for the number of players, I will not name the exact result, because I am probably wrong, but it was shockingly high. Crazy. ”
“We were very pleased to see this level of user engagement, and it’s great that it had a positive impact on the game and the way people talk about the project.”
A spokesperson for Codemasters notes that the number of players in Dirt 5 is still high. He admits that most people had difficulty in the first week of signing up for the game, and later the number of players decreased.
It is unknown when the last installment of the racing series will disappear from Xbox Game Pass. As a reminder, Codemasters was recently acquired by EA, whose games are available on a Microsoft subscription.
