Galaxy S10 Lite and A50 are getting the August 2020 security patch

After the July security patch, Samsung starts rolling out the August 2020 security update to many of its devices. Samsung Galaxy S10 series was the first to receive this update. Now, Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy A50 are getting the August 2020 security update, which improves the system security for better device performance.

The software version of this update for Galaxy S10 Lite is G770FXXS3BTG2 while the Samsung Galaxy A50 is getting the firmware version A505FNXXS5BTH1.

Currently, the latest update for Galaxy S10 Lite is rolling out in Bolivia, Colombia, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Trinidad and Tobago. Meanwhile, this update rolling out across many European countries including Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and more to the Galaxy A50 devices.

To check the software update manually, just head into the device Settings, tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.
