Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+, and Galaxy Note 8 are running Android 9.0 Pie and One UI 1.0. According to Samsung’s customer service representative, the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 are eligible for the Android 10 OS and One UI 2.0 update.

According to a Reddit post, Samsung’s representative said:

“Please note that these two models are eligible to receive the new Android 10 version. Deployment will take place during this year 2020”

We have already seen a similar response from Samsung’s customer support team. Even so, the word of a representative does not guarantee that the company will send the Android 10 OS update to the Galaxy S8, S8+, and Note 8. The fact is, Samsung only provides two Android version upgrades to its every device. For your information, the Galaxy S7 series stuck on Android (8) Oreo.

Further, Samsung’s official Android 10 OS update roadmap doesn’t mention the Galaxy S8, S8+, and Note 8.  It will be a big step by the company to provide a third major Android OS update. Let’s wait.
