Galaxy S9, S9+ getting One UI 2.1 with June 2020 patch, Quick Share, Music Share, and more

Samsung has finally started rolling out the One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ users. The latest update brings many useful features and the latest June 2020 security patch.

The software version G960NKSU3ETF4 and G965NKSU3ETF4 for Korean S9 and S9+ units and G960FXXU9ETF5 And G965FXXU9ETF5 for international Galaxy S9 and S9+ units respectively. The size of this update is more than 1110MB.

It brings the Quick Share, Music Share, and many camera-centric features including the Single Take mode and Pro video mode. You can read complete One UI 2.1 features here.

We were expecting the One UI 2.1 update to hit first in South Korea, but the update starts rolling out in European countries. The update should soon be available in other markets. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ could start getting One UI 2.1 update from next week.

You can check for the latest software update by heading into the device Settings > Software update menu.
