Apple’s iPhone 11 was the best-selling smartphone in Q1 2020, iPhone 11 series accounted for 10% of the global smartphone markets

According to a new report from Canalys, Apple iPhone 11 was the best-selling smartphone in the world during Q1 2020, with sell-in shipments estimated at 18 million units. Apple iPhone 11 series took three spots in the Q1 2020 top ten smartphone models. The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max accounted for 10% of global smartphone share.

Among Android phones, the Xiaomi‘s Redmi Note 8/8T with 8 million shipments took the No.1 spot, while Samsung‘s Galaxy A51 with 6 million shipments was the second most popular android device. While the Redmi Note 8 Pro was the fourth most popular Android device and the fifth most popular smartphone overall during the Q1 2020.

Samsung has four devices in the global top 10 smartphones in Q1 2020 – Galaxy A51, Galaxy A10s, Galaxy A20s, and Galaxy A01. While Apple and Xiaomi both had 3 devices in the list.
