While scrolling down in the “About this app” section, you will find the “Compatibility for your active devices” option in Google Play. Further, the US tech maker explains what is the key function of this fresh addition:

“This section shows you whether this app works on your devices. You’ll only see devices that are linked to your Google Account and that have been active in the last 30 days.”

The section includes some basic terms. For instance:

  • Compatibility: Works on your device
  • Version
  • Download Size
  • Required OS: This first appeared in April under App Info and was renamed from “Android OS”

The function seems quite generalized in a formal manner. Moreover, it delivers direct information and looks to be user-friendly. For the moment, the new app listing section is rolling out with version 30.6.16-21 of the Google Play Store. As usual, it is only the access of a few users, however, the company will soon release the update widely.
