PC accessories and peripherals maker Cougar has updated the GEX series of modular power supplies, adding a 1050W version. Currently, the series of power supplies are also available in 650W, 750W, and 850W versions, all with 80Plus Gold certification.
This series of power supplies are equipped with COUGAR HDB dynamic hydraulic bearing fans, with a lifespan of up to 150,000 hours, and airflow concentration technology that can effectively decrease fan noise. When the power load is lower than 40%, the fan will stop.
GEX series power supplies adopt LLC resonant circuit technology, which can control the voltage fluctuation range within 3%. The power supply is equipped with a Japanese capacitor with a temperature resistance of 105-degree C that can ensure stable operation at an ambient temperature of 40-degree C and give sufficient power.
The GEX power supply is a full-module design and gives a variety of connection lines. The newly launched 1050W power supply from Gujia has three rows of cable sockets and provides up to 10 sets of 8-pin output interfaces, suitable for users with multiple graphics cards.
The diameter of this power supply fan is increased to 135mm, and it still has the function of the automatic stop. The official price of the product has not yet been announced. The price of the GEX 850 power supply is 699 yuan.
