Huawei HiSilicon plans for advance research on chips by recruiting freshers

Huawei’s semiconductor subsidiary HiSilicon has opened 2022 recruitment for freshers to do research on advanced chips. The company has announced its official WeChat account with the tagline “Join Huawei HiSilicon and take the world forward!”

HiSilicon is a semiconductor manufacturing company fully owned by Huawei and has a good reputation as the largest domestic chip designer of integrated circuits in China. As per the US sanctions, Huawei was listed in the Entity list and banned from several areas, which hindered its growth.

This lead to the downgrade of the company in several markets and to overcome that situation, Huawei is trying hard and continuously planning to develop, research, and build on some innovative techs.

According to the data from TrendForce, in the first quarter ranking of the world’s top chip-making companies, the HiSilicon slipped out of the top 10 after the US ban. Meanwhile, the company is still struggling and continuously trying to regain its position back. It remains to be seen as to how and when it will make its comeback in the field.
