Huawei sends a monthly and quarterly security patch update for its supported devices. The monthly and quarterly security patch update programs include patches for the Android OS and patches for Huawei smartphones released by Huawei.

Huawei recently removed the Mate 10 series from the compatible device list. It means the device will not receive any more software updates.
The Mate 10 series (Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10 RS Porsche Design) is currently receiving the EMUI 10 update in China and should get the major OS update in other regions too.
Surprising thing is, the Mate 10 Lite is still in the quarterly update list. Check the screenshot below:
