[Update: Resumed] Huawei stopped EMUI 10 rollout for the Mate 20 series

Update: According to the information (via Huawei Central), users in India resumed receiving stable EMUI 10 for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

Huawei officially started the EMUI 10 beta program for Huawei Mate 20 devices in October 2019 and expanded to many markets around the globe. Recent information regarding this subject reveals that the company has ‘temporarily halted’ the EMUI 10 rollout for Mate 20 series.

We would like to inform you that Stable version of Android 10 / EMUI 10 for Huawei Mate 20 devices is temporarily put on hold. Please be informed that we will start releasing Android EMUI 10 by end of January 2020.” Huawei.

Huawei said that this temporary halt is due to check the issues and give the best feature update to the users, reports Huawei Central.

Last week, Huawei’s subsidiary – Honor also stopped the rollout of Magic UI 3.0 (Android 10) for Honor 20, 20 Pro and V20. The rollout scheduled to restart by the second week of February.

  2. Click on the ‘Services’ tab
  3. Click on ‘Update
  4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES
  5. Click on ‘Download and install
