Apple is planning to introduce a smaller model of the upcoming iPhone 12 series, which may be called as iPhone 12 Mini. This smartphone from Apple is said to be the smallest flagship iPhone of all time. Despite its size, the new iPhone 12 Mini will have all the flagship features as the other iPhones in the line-up. Here are all the expected features of this iPhone.
According to rumors, all the iPhones in the series will feature OLED display including iPhone 12 Mini, which may sport a 5.4-inch screen size. Previously, Apple did not include the OLED display technology in its non-Pro variants and they were only limited to the ‘Pro’ models. But this time all the iPhones in the lineup are expected to have OLED displays, which could be a major upgrade from Apple.
The camera configuration of the iPhone 12 Mini could be the same as iPhone 11. It is expected to come with two rear cameras and a single camera at the front. There were many rumors regarding the LiDAR scanner to be included in iPhone 12 series but now it seems that the iPhone 12 Pro Max might be the only device to feature this new hardware.

The iPhone Mini will feature the same A14 Bionic as the other iPhones in the lineup. This new processor from Apple is said to be the most powerful processor among all the iPhones. Along with the A14 Bionic, the iPhone will have sub-6 GHz frequency for 5G connection. The other iPhones are also likely to have the same sub-6 GHz for 5G except the iPhone 12 Pro Max which is said to feature advanced mm-wave technology for faster 5G connections.
This iPhone will come with the latest iOS 14 out of the box including all the new features such as new widgets, compact calls, more improved privacy, and many more. Despite the screen size and the price, the other features of the iPhone 12 Mini are similar to the iPhone 12.
The iPhone 12 Mini is rumored to be priced at $649 and it will offer three storage options including 64, 128, and 256GB. The 128GB variant may be priced at $699 and the 256GB could come at $799. Although we expected the iPhone 12 Mini to come at an affordable price but due to its high-end features such as OLED display, the price cannot be decreased. iPhone Mini 12 will be launched along with the iPhone 12 series which is expected to be launch on October 13. Similar to other iPhones this year, the iPhone 12 Mini will also come without any accessories in the box.
