One of the top distributors of Apple, Foxconn in Shenzhen, China, has to put a pause over all the iPhone activities. This halt took place due to the COVID lockdown and other major scenarios in the region. The local authorities took the decision to enact a lockdown due to a gradual increase in pandemic cases, for a week.

The government took the lockdown step after seeing the COVID cases crossing 3000 in numbers. This lockdown reduces the shares of Foxconn by 1 percent in Taipei by Monday dawn. Similarly, the lockdown causes a bad effect on Apple and other tech giants as well.

Apart from Foxconn, other OEM(s) are also enforced to hand on their hardware and software activities. The inclusion has DJI, Tencent, and Huawei. These companies need to put a halt on their operation for a while until the government marks an end to the isolation period.  As per the news, the lockdown will continue till 20 March.
