As the world’s factory for LCD panels, has gradually concentrated the share of core leading makers, and will have relatively few new production capacities from 2020 to 2021, and is currently a global leader.

A screen panel research organization, LCD panel values continued to rise across the board in April this year, for example, 32-inch panels reached US$82.

This also indicates that panel quotations in March and April once again exceeded expectations. In the global core shortage environment, the supply chain is quite fragile due to the tightness of key components, and the LCD industry continues to be in short supply.

The agency believes that under the background of the long-term supply and demand pattern brought about by Korean manufacturers withdrawing from the LCD industry, considering the shortage of driver ICs this year, the trend of LCD panels being out of stock and rising prices is expected to continue for a long time.

Therefore, the LCD industry in mainland China has grown from scratch to now achieve global leadership. Coupled with the cyclical weakening of the industry, leading Chinese producers have officially entered a harvest period.

LCD prices continue to rise, and Chinese manufacturers are entering the harvest period. There are currently many Chinese screen panel manufacturers, and the more well-known companies include TCL Huaxing, Shenzhen Tianma, Visionox, Longteng Optoelectronics, Rouyu, and so on.
