Leaked Redmi K40 retail box hints two variants – ‘with charger and without charger’

We’ve already seen leaks, render, and more information about the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone, Redmi K40. The company also confirmed that the smartphone is going to be launched in February.

Now, Lu Weibing has shared the image of Redmi K40’s packing box on Weibo with the caption “Spoiler about the K40 box! Thick or thin? This is a difficult choice, ask your views, straight screen flagship K40, see next month”.

According to the leaked image, there are two boxes, the first one is thicker, and the second is thinner. These two packaging boxes are most likely to resemble two configuration variants.

Following the Xiaomi Mi 11‘s footsteps, the new affordable flagship Redmi K40 seems to have a charger option. As shown in the picture below, you can see two Redmi K40 retail packaging boxes, one possibly with a charger, and the other a thin box without a charger.

One can only hope that the prices of the two versions are the same, as users will not be excited about the possibility of additional payment for the charger.

Redmi K40 series will be released next month, starting at 2,999 yuan, and can use the most expensive direct screen with a battery capacity of over 4000mAh.

However, it has officially annouced that the high-end version of the Redmi K40  will equip with the latest Snapdragon 888 flagship processor.
