Long delayed Rainbow Six game will make its debut at Ubisoft’s E3 conference

Ubisoft has announced that it is revealing the gameplay for its next entry in the Rainbow Six franchise in its E3 showcase this year. According to a blog post, Ubisoft’s E3 Forward showcases “world premiere gameplay and trailers revealing this brand-new co-op title for the first time”.

Before the name change, the upcoming game was previously named Rainbow Six Quarantine. The new title of the game has not yet been revealed and will enter the Ubisoft Forward display. The Rainbow Six blockade was originally scheduled to be released before March 2021, but Ubisoft has delayed Far Cry 6 from April 2021 to March 2022 in the current fiscal year.’

The Ubisoft Forward Showcase opens June 12 at PT. The deep dive about the upcoming Rainbow Six game comes at 1 p.m. pt. Currently, not much information is available about Ubisoft’s upcoming entry into the Rainbow Six franchise. We know this is a co-op-focused game, and the teaser trailer released in 2019 hints at zombies or infected enemies.

In addition to the upcoming Rainbow Six game, Ubisoft will be showcasing Far Cry 6 more at its Ubisoft Forward event. The developer and publisher recently revealed the 14-minute game in a short presentation, introducing players to the game’s main character, Danny Rojas. Updates to previously released titles by Ubisoft, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Rainbow Six Siege, will also be revealed at the company’s E2 event.

Besides video games, Ubisoft will also be flaunting some of its other upcoming content, including the Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest and its upcoming move, Werewolves Within.
