Microsoft officially declared that it has released an early preview version of the OneDrive 64-bit version of the Windows client. This is the first 64-bit version of OneDrive for Windows since its release in 2014.

Microsoft said that the 64-bit version has little difference in experience for ordinary users. The main difference is that the 64-bit version of OneDrive can provide better performance when synchronizing large files larger than GB.
