Xiaomi has released a new MIUI 12.5 beta update with version 21.8.20 in China. The new update fixes some known issues related to lock screen, cast screen, status bar, and notification for a better experience.

The latest MIUI 12.5 beta update fixes the is flickering screen issue when the lock screen occasionally turns off, the problem of occasional background abnormality when receiving a floating notification under the tripartite theme, and the issue that the lock screen notification occasionally jitters when the bright screen is lifted.
It also optimizes the projection experience of the cast screen. Currently, the new update is only available for testers in China. You can check the updated changelog of this update mentioned below.
