Nvidia releases 526.61 graphics card driver patch to fix “Call of Duty 19” crash bugs

Nvidia previously confirmed that GeForce graphics card driver 526.47 will indeed cause some stability issues such as a crash in the “Call of Duty 19: Modern Warfare 2” game. Fortunately, the company has now released a new graphics card driver patch to fix this problem.

Nvidia says that upgrading the drivers to Hotfix driver 526.61 will resolve issues with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The patch addresses the following issues:

  • [Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II] Randomly see the flickering broken screen when playing the game (issue 3829010).

  • VTube Studio may crash to a black screen. (issue 3838158).

  • After exiting some games, the GPU is stuck in the P0 state. (issue 3846389).

Nvidia Patch Call of Duty 19Moreover, the patch can be downloaded through the NVIDIA support page and will not be pushed through GeForce Experience. Nvidia explained that because these patches are “program-specific fixes” and are completely separate installations rather than upgrades.
