Posted on

OnePlus is initiating a new OxygenOS 13.1 rollout for its devices that will bring the cellular data-sharing feature on board. The effective functionality will let you share the mobile network with other devices so that you can seamlessly operate and manage tasks without the requirement of setting up a hotspot.

OxygenOS 13.1 already accompanies various tweaks and impressive changes for OnePlus devices, but the latest cellular sharing addition will bring a new experience to users in real-time. On the flip side, the upgrade is said to offer more features like Auto Connect, App Relay Playing, and more.

According to the information, the Chinese OEM activated cellular data sharing for OnePlus devices a few days ago (June 20). The tweak was mainly pushed to the first-ever tablet from the brand – the OnePlus Pad. But it looks like, we would be able to see these changes in the top-end models as well.

Consequently, we could find the cellular data sharing feature in these devices in the time ahead:

  • OnePlus 11
  • OnePlus 11R
  • OnePlus 10 Pro
  • OnePlus 10T
  • OnePlus 10R
  • OnePlus 9
  • OnePlus 9 Pro
  • OnePlus 9R
  • OnePlus 9RT
  • OnePlus 8T

Though the source has not mentioned any Nord model in the list. Yet, we may find the newly arrived Nord phones as the supportive models for the significant capability.

Although the tech giant said that it will soon bring this tweak to other countries. Notably, the timeline of the feature release may vary depending on the region.
