OnePlus is rolling out the OxygenOS 13 open beta iteration for the Nord CE 5G smartphone users in India. The corresponding device owners are also sharing their experience on how the latest firmware is working on their handsets. While there are many positive points, a few users reported the 5G issue on OnePlus Nord CE after OxygenOS 13 beta update.
Consequently, a few users said that even when the device is showing a 4G+ network (say 5G) on the status bar, the internet in some third-party apps like telegram doesn’t work efficiently. Moreover, you can’t even check for updates.
Notably, the 5G issue arrived on the OnePlus Nord CE devices after the OxygenOS 13 beta iteration. Thus, users termed it as a bug and tried other ways to skip the problem. Yes! with some simple solution, you can rescue from the strange defect. For instance, turning on and off the Aeroplane mode, switching on and off the mobile data, and so on.
However, the company has finally taken responsibility and assured us that it will soon solve the issue. According to some official men in the community forum, the tech maker has synched with the developer team and they will fix the issue with the next OxygenOS version.
“We noticed that some Nord CE users could not use the 5G function after updating OxygenOS 13 open beta.
After receiving your feedback, we synchronized it with the dev team immediately. According to the dev team, the fix will be included in the next version with a high possibility, which will be released soon.”
