POCO X3 is now official with a Snapdragon 732G chipset, a 120Hz screen, and 33W fast charging

POCO has announced the POCO X3 NFC at a virtual global launch event. POCO’s latest smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 732G chipset. The POCO X3 NFC is a successor to the POCO X2 that was launched in February 2020. Like its predecessor, the POCO X3 does not support 5G.

It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The maximum brightness is only 450nits, however, it does come with an HDR10 certification. It has a 2400X1080 pixel resolution at 395ppi with a centrally placed punch-hole housing 20MP selfie camera.

In the camera department, the device comes with a rear quad-camera setup with a Sony IMX682 64MP main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. You’ll be able to record 4K up to 30fps, impressive AI modes, and Night Modes.

It is powered by the Qualcomm’s mid-range 8nm Snapdragon 732G chipset, with POCO’s LiquidCool Plus 1.0 technology. It comes with 6GB of RAM and up to 64/128GB of storage. It has a massive 5160mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

You will also get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual stereo speakers, NFC, an IR blaster, and IP53 water and dust resistance.

About software, POCO is shipping the device with Android 10-based MIUI 12 out of the box. The company promised to give three years of system updates and support.

The Poco X3 will be available in two colors: Cobalt Blue and Shadow Gray. The 6GB/64GB version of the POCO X3 has been priced at €229/$270, the 6GB/128GB version will cost €269/$318. Early bird pricing for both devices will be €199 and €249 respectively. You get the device from September 8 in selected markets.
