Talking about two years of returning to the domestic market, Xu Qi said that they have experienced too many heartbeat moments. “Two years ago, the question we faced, is there a chance for a new player? Can Realme have a place in this fiercely competitive market?”
In early 2020, Realme adjusted its product strategy and proposed a “comprehensive 5G”. Since then, all Realme Chinese products have been 5G products. Xu Qi said, “For real estate at the time, it meant giving up market share and opening up more possibilities. It was a shocking decision.”
In February this year, Realme also announced a “Dual Platform + Dual Flagship” strategy for 2021. In high-end products, Realme will use both the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series and the MediaTek Dimensity series dual flagship 5G platforms to create the performance and imaging of the two major series.
