In May 2019, the U.S government added Huawei in Entity-list which creates difficulties to import key components for its smartphones. It affects Huawei as well as overseas technology sectors that include chipset, display-panels, and other manufacturers.
U.S government has targeted to destroy Chinese tech giants over alleged national-security issues. Since 15 September, Huawei is not able to manufacture new Kirin chips and facing a shortage of chips and display components which results in delays in the device launch.
Huawei Rotating Chairman Guo Pind said, “Non-stop aggression from the US government has put us under significant pressure. Right now, survival is the goal”.
On 23 September, at Huawei Connect 2020, it is a flagship event hosted by Huawei for the ICT industry. Huawei discloses some new approach to overcome from U.S restriction.
